Biography
For the last 25 years, Rod Weagant, a landscape painter, has traveled the Yukon and states of Alaska and Washington recording, on canvas, the intense beauty of the mountains. He attempts to not only capture physical terrain but also the light and atmosphere surrounding the land. Rod has had over 30 one-man shows, exhibited his work throughout the country and has received numerous painting awards. You may visit him in his painting studio located in Dalton City, Haines, Alaska, if he isn’t out painting.
