Cammie Walker lives and works from her home/studio at Kashwitna Lake, in the upper Susitna Valley of Alaska.

Walker moved to Alaska as a child in 1972. Alaska is the inspiration for nearly all of her work and she continually strives to incorporate the spirit and beauty of this great land in every mosaic she creates.

Glass casts light and reflects color, creating new and dramatic perspectives of the mosaic at different times of day or from different angles. Walker loves creating riots of color and is fascinated with the way light transforms glass. Since mosaic artwork cannot be reproduced, and since no two pieces are ever exactly the same, you have purchased a uniquely original piece of art.
