Introducing Alaska’s 50th Anniversary Governers’ Print, the first document in Alaska history to be signed by 8 out of 10 governors since statehood. “Legacy of Alaska” is a limited edition of 950 giclee prints taken from a painting by Sydney Laurence depicting Mt. McKinley.

The proceeds from this rare edition of prints will go towards 6 months of commemorative and celebratory events, legacy projects, and history awareness campaigns in honor of the Statehood Anniversary. The 2009 State Celebration kickoff will begin June 2008 and culminate on Statehood Day January 3, 2009.
