Commemorating AlaskaÂ’s 50th Statehood Anniversary
February 22, 2008, 11 to 5pm [the event continued through March 15, 2009]

Introducing AlaskaÂ’s 50th Anniversary Governers Print, the first document in Alaska history to be signed by 8 out of 10 governors since statehood. "Legacy of Alaska" is a limited edition of 950 giclee prints taken from a painting by Sydney Laurence depicting Mt. McKinley.

Violin
Artful Violins
October 28, 2007, 1 to 4pm

Alaskan artists have transformed already beautiful violins into music for the eyes, for an unprecedented fundraising event benefitting the Anchorage Symphony Orchestra.

The violins, currently on display at Artique, will be sold at a Gala Auction in February. They can be pre-purchased at the gallery with a donation check of $10,000 or more. For more information, visit www.artfulviolins.org.
